Certainly was slipping quite badly. There was a good reason for banks and cuttings to be kept clean in steam days, apart from the summer fire risk. With vegetation now so close to the track is no longer ventilated freely, as trees tend to hold down the damp. Disc brakes trains don't help either, there is no friction to remove pulp as with brakeblocks. We now have the ecology debate too. If the railway cuts back the under growth there is a storm of protest. If they leave it as they have done more problems lead to more problems. How long will it be before some one rages that the RHTT is unecological? Be honest look at the state of the train itself, hardly healthy for the crew one would think. However, to Clubs credit, and the drivers, she kept going even without the aid of equal to four dead coaches at the rear!! Must say made a great video too, thanks. 👍👍👍👍👍
